Connecting to your files on the D4NEW domain from a computer NOT in one of the Division 4 computer labs.

Use START à My Computer That will open a window that is something like this.

On the Address line type in \\antipasto.union.edu and hit return

Be very careful here make sure you type
\\antipasto.union.edu
and NOT
//antipasto.union.edu

This will bring up a Login Dialog Box. Type in D4NEW\<your username> and use your WinXP (samba) password to login. DO NOT check the “Remember” box.

You should then see a window like the one below where “Home” has the files that you have stored on the H: drive and “Profile” will have WinXP folders down in it for your Desktop, My Documents and other routine WinXP areas.
